Day in Dubai

We landed in Dubai via Durban and had a 26 hour layover before our FINAL flight to Singapore.  After landing very early, we checked into an airport hotel and took a brief nap before heading out for the day.  We got dropped off at a city centre - which turned out to be a shopping mall.  We found a kiosk at the entrance for one of those double decker bus tours and quickly got tickets and hopped on to make our way around the city.
